Slow-Cooker Pulled Pork & Provolone Sandwiches

Pulled pork never tasted so good! These irresistible sandwiches feature pork shoulder slowly simmered in a delicious jarred bacon and provolone sauce and served on sandwich rolls.

Ingredients

  3 lbs boneless pork shoulder

  3/4 tsp kosher salt

  1/4 tsp ground black pepper

  3/4 tsp garlic powder

  1 jar (24 ounces) Prego® Bacon & Provolone Sauce

  6 kaiser sandwich rolls

  6 slices provolone cheese (about 6 ounces)

Directions

1. Season the pork with the salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Place the pork into a 6-quart slow cooker. Pour the sauce over the pork.

2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until the pork is fork-tender. Remove the pork to a cutting board. Spoon off any fat from the sauce in the cooker.

3. Using 2 forks, shred the pork. Return the pork to the cooker. Divide the pork mixture among the rolls. Top with the cheese.
