Creamy Beef Tacos

Love taco night, but are looking for something a little more elegant? Try these creamy beef tacos. The cream cheese and diced chiles add complexity and excitement to an old family favorite.

Ingredients

  1 lb ground beef

  3/4 cup water

  1.25 oz ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning Mix (1 package)

  7 oz ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles ( 1 can)

  1 cup ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce

  3 oz cream cheese (1 package)

  12 ORTEGA® Taco Shells 1 package

  Toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, sliced green onions, sour cream

Directions

BROWN beef; drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese, chiles, taco sauce and cream cheese; stir until cream cheese is melted.

FILL taco shells with beef mixture. Top with lettuce, tomato, green onions and sour cream.
