Cranberry Orange Walnut Granola

You will love the sweet toasted flavor of homemade granola. This version has cranberries, orange extract and walnuts – typical ingredients of the holidays. It makes a great gift when packaged in glass jars or cellophane bags.

Ingredients

  1/2 cup brown sugar

  2 egg whites

  2 Tbs canola oil

  1 tsp McCormick® Ginger Ground

  1 tsp McCormick® Pure Orange Extract

  2 cups rolled oats

  1 cup walnuts

  1/2 cup dried cranberries

Directions

Mix brown sugar, egg whites, oil, ginger and orange extract in small bowl until well blended. Set aside.

Add egg white mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spread evenly on foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

Cool completely on wire rack. Stir in dried cranberries. Store in airtight container up to 1 week.
