Avocado and Pomi Salsa

1 Box Pomi chopped tomatoes

1/2 Small onion

2 Cloves garlic unpeeled

2 tablespoons cilantro

1 teaspoon salt

1 jalapeno

1 1/2 avocados


Preheat broiler.

Halve onion and arrange on rack of a broiler pan with garlic. Broil 1 to 2 inches from heat- turning once, until softened and slightly charred, (about 10 minutes.)

Add 1 box of Pomi chopped tomatoes to a bowl.

Peel garlic and put in a food processor with onion, cilantro, and salt. Wearing gloves, discard seeds from jalapeno and coarsely chop. Add chopped jalapeno and other ingredients to tomatoes.

Halve and pit avocado and scoop flesh into mixture.

Mash with a fork leaving texture coarse.
